We stayed here for a week in early October a couple of years ago. It is a beautiful place, nice and clean and very friendly. The rooms were okay but dated with very little storage and the bathroom was very basic but clean. We had a nice view of the sea and the pool from our balcony.
The selling point of this hotel has to be the pool which, when lit in the evenings as people dine on the terrace overlooking it is a sight to behold with the coloured fountain set in the middle. That said there are not many sun loungers set around the pool and those that there were were old and uncomfortable.
We stayed half board which was good value although the food is a bit limited, particularly at the evening meals. The breakfast buffet too was fairly limited but adequate. The food was traditionally Greek with few options for anything else should it not be to your taste. The bar area is good and drinks reasonably priced and Natasha is quite happy to make cocktails from her extensive menu. We tried going through the list but didn’t quite manage them all!
There’s a naturist beach within walking distance but you really need to hire a car if you want to see the island or eat out. If you want somewhere cheap to stay and just laze around the pool all day it’s lovely. Just watch out for the Mosquito’s flies and wasps although that might have just been the time of year we were there.
